Wisdom Research at the University of Chicago (2012 - 2015)

Supported by the John Templeton Foundation, Wisdom Research at the University of Chicago is a project consisting of six research initiatives that explore big questions in the field that have the greatest potential of influencing research, education, policy and professions: What is the relationship between expertise and wisdom? How does experience increase wisdom? What is the relationship between cognitive, social and emotional processes in mediating wisdom?

Each initiative is led by University of Chicago faculty, in collaboration with scientists at other institutions, including some collaborators affiliated with Defining Wisdom (2007 - 2011), a prior project administered at the University of Chicago.
